Notes from the studio
We spend most of our days behind a camera or in front of a timeline. The journal is where the rest of it goes: how a shoot came together, why we made a certain cut, the small technical things that make a café look like a film instead of a phone clip.
What to expect
- Breakdowns of recent projects — the brief, the plan, the grade.
- Field notes on shooting small-business work on a real budget.
- The occasional opinion about why most local video looks the same, and how not to.
If you run a place worth filming in Toronto, say hello.
